Cefalù is a highly sought-after and crowded destination throughout the summer, thanks to its crystal-clear sea, fun, and nightlife, but it’s also worth stopping by in the winter to experience Christmas in Cefalù. The Norman town offers a vast calendar of events every year that characterize the Christmas period.
From December 6th to January 6th, Cefalù transforms its typically summery nature into a Christmas one: living nativity scenes and local events are the main attractions.
All of Cefalù’s most important monuments remain open on Christmas days to allow tourists to enjoy a complete experience.
Must-sees will be the Cefalù Cathedral, the medieval washhouse, the Salvatore Cicero municipal theatre, and the Mandralisca Museum, which houses important works by Antonello da Messina, the Flemish school, and Sicilian artists.
